Terms of Service & Community Rules

1. Introduction

MakeMyNavratri ("the Platform," "we," "us") is a peer-to-peer marketplace enabling users to buy, sell, and exchange Navratri Garba event passes in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Gandhinagar. These Terms govern your use of the Platform and all related services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use this Platform, as explicitly represented during onboarding. If we determine that you are under 18, your account will be immediately suspended.

3. Account & Verification

Account creation requires phone number verification via Truecaller 1-Tap authentication and/or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted thereunder. Providing false verification data constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

4. Nature of the Platform — Peer-to-Peer, No Escrow

5. Listing Categories

The Platform hosts three distinct categories of listings:

• Official Partner Primary Sales: Passes listed directly by an organizer with whom we have a formal partnership, subject to organizer price bands.
• Partnered Event P2P Resale: Peer-to-peer resale of passes for partnered venues.
• Non-Partnered Event P2P Resale: Peer-to-peer resale of passes for independent or third-party events where MakeMyNavratri has no commercial relationship.

Buyers must note the applicable category before transacting, as it establishes the nature of seller authorization.

6. Pricing & Market Integrity

No peer-to-peer pass listing may be priced above 1.5 times the original stated face value of the pass. This cap is strictly enforced server-side and database-side at listing creation and edit time.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• List counterfeit, duplicated, altered, or non-existent passes.
• Engage in price manipulation intended to disrupt market perception of an event.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform's identity verification or dHash perceptual watermarking systems.
• Use the Platform for unlawful scalping syndicates or unverified bulk resale.

8. Fraud Investigation & Trust & Safety Policy

Listings may be reviewed under our Trust & Safety Escalation Policy in response to user reports or verified organizer complaints. You agree to cooperate promptly with reasonable requests for supporting proof within the specified 5–7 day window.

9. Intellectual Property & Nominative Fair Use

Venue and event names referenced in listings are used descriptively to identify the relevant pass and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with MakeMyNavratri unless explicitly designated with an Official Partner badge.

10. Third-Party Ticketing Platforms

Passes originally issued by third-party ticketing platforms (such as Wowsly, BookMyShow, Mepass, Showmates, or District) may be subject to that platform's own terms regarding transferability. You are solely responsible for complying with those terms. MakeMyNavratri provides informational Transfer Guides but does not guarantee third-party platform policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, MakeMyNavratri is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including financial losses or entry denial arising from peer-to-peer transactions.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, including failure to respond to fraud inquiries or repeat policy violations, with notice where reasonably practicable.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to your use of MakeMyNavratri (excluding peer-to-peer buyer-seller disputes handled under the Trust & Safety Policy) shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, conducted in the English language before a sole arbitrator. This clause does not affect non-waivable statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Grievance Redressal & Support

For marketplace disputes, safety concerns, or DPDP Act data rights requests, our Grievance & Support Team may be reached via our dedicated Grievance Redressal Portal or by emailing support@makemynavratri.com.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any contractual or non-contractual disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to the arbitration agreement in Section 13 above, the competent courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive territorial jurisdiction over all matters arising out of or related to these Terms.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes impacting specific consent segments will require renewed consent for that segment only, preserving segmented consent integrity.
