What is MakeMyNavratri?

MakeMyNavratri (makemynavratri.com) is Gujarat’s premier verified peer-to-peer marketplace to buy and sell Navratri Garba passes for major Ahmedabad and Gujarat venues like GMDC Ground, Rajpath Club, Suvarnam, and Karnavati Club.

Are passes on MakeMyNavratri verified?

Yes, every listing includes watermarked ticket verification and organizer price caps (≤ 1.5x face value) with Truecaller human identity verification to eliminate black marketing and fake passes.

Why is Ticket Proof & Automated Watermarking mandatory for all listings?

Every seller must upload a photo or screenshot of their ticket. Before saving, our system automatically overlays an HTML5 canvas watermark ("MakeMyNavratri Verified • [Date] • [UID]") diagonally across the image and computes a 64-bit perceptual dHash fingerprint to immediately detect and reject duplicate or stolen pass screenshots.

How do platform transfers work (Wowsly, BookMyShow, Mepass, Showmates)?

Wowsly, Mepass, and Showmates support direct app-to-app ticket transfers via mobile number. BookMyShow and District do not support native in-app transfers, so verified parties coordinate directly via in-app chat for physical QR entry or wristband handoff. Full step-by-step guides are available in our Transfer Guides section.

How does the Fair Price Guide / AI Benchmark work?

Our price benchmark tracks fair box-office face values and median community prices across major Ahmedabad grounds (GMDC, YMCA, Rajpath, Suvarnam) to prevent extortionate black-market price gouging.

Can I find passes for specific Navratri nights (Day 1 to Day 9) or Pre-Navratri?

Yes! Use the Navratri Day selector (Day 1 • Oct 11 to Day 9 • Oct 19 / Dussehra, plus Pre-Navratri warm-up passes) on the Explore Marketplace or Pass Listing Studio to filter or list passes for specific festival dates.

How does payment work? Does MakeMyNavratri hold funds or charge a fee?

MakeMyNavratri operates on a zero-escrow model as a community platform with ₹0 brokerage and ₹0 platform fees. We do not collect, hold, escrow, or process user payments. Verified buyers and sellers coordinate directly via secure in-app chat, agree on terms within the fair-price cap, and complete payment directly (via UPI or cash) in person after physically inspecting and verifying the pass at the venue gate.

Is personal data compliant with the DPDP Act 2023?

Yes. We strictly comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. Explicit affirmative consent is recorded for mobile verification, and users can manage privacy preferences anytime.
